The origin of Pascal University Foundation goes back to the existence of a tertiary level setting incorporated to formal education, under the name of "Instituto Superior Pascal" (ISP). The Institute has began his activities in 1980, driven by a group of teachers from Córdoba with an educational proposal based on an innovative curriculum. The first educational offerings belonged to the area of ​ computer science, mathematics and administration. When Blaise Pascal University began working in 1990, the higher authorities decided to stop the activities of the Institute in order to concentrate all academic and financial resources within the University.
