Created 1984. Acquired status 1994. AIB was formerly known as Gibaran Graduate School of Business. The other members of the Gibaran Learning Group (Australian Institute of Business Administration, Entrepreneurship Institute Australia and Tourism Institute Australia) were merged with AIB as part of a corporate restructuring exercise.

Admission Requirements

Undergraduate: a qualification deemed equivalent to year 12 under the Australian Qualifications Framework; Postgraduate: relevant undergraduate degree, and / or work experience in some cases; Doctorates: relevant Master’s degree and relevant work experience. All candidates whose native language is not English must show proof of English proficiency (undergraduate applicants: TOEFL 550, or 6.0 IELTS, or a credit or better in English in the GCE ‘O’ or ‘A’ levels or equivalent; postgraduate and doctoral applicants: TOEFL 575, or 6.5 IELTS).
